Anastassiya Neznanova
Soprano
Anastassiya Neznanova is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in classical training and shaped by an interdisciplinary approach to performance and visual expression. She is a classically trained singer and a graduate of Brooklyn College- BM in Music Performance (2021). She studied Stanislavsky system for over a year and continued her acting study at Penny Templeton Studio during summer 2019
Her operatic and theatrical performance experience includes roles such as Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro with New York Lyric Opera (2019), as well as Cherubino and Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro (2023). She has also performed the roles of Mrs. Fiorentino and Jennie in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene with Varna International (2023). She has additionally performed with The Garcia School of Hawaii International Festival for several years, where she also contributed to capturing artist portraits
Alongside her musical practice, she took photography classes at Q College, expanding her artistic language into visual storytelling and composition. Her background in ballet further informs her work, bringing a deep understanding of movement, physicality, and stage presence to her artistic practice.
Working across music, dance, and visual arts, she approaches each discipline as part of a unified creative dialogue. Her work reflects a commitment to craft, curiosity across mediums, and an ongoing exploration of how sound, movement, and image intersect.
