Join the unique multicultural, interdisciplinary event with classical solo, chamber/vocal music, chocolate tasting, and taiko drumming. As an opening number, one of the world’s foremost experts on chocolate, Will Lydgate of Steelgrass Farms, will guide you through a chocolate tasting of artisanal Hawaiian chocolate. Then, hear our featured Metropolitan Opera Soprano Amy Shoremount-Obra, Tchaikovsky Prize Winning Violinist Eric Silberger, Louisiana Philharmonic Assistant Principal Cellist Daniel Lelchuk, and Young Artist Soprano Mikayla Sager. Special guests at this event include internationally acclaimed Canadian Pianist Ian Parker, who has appeared as soloist with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra and world renowned Taiko Artist Kenny Endo who is one of the leading artists in contemporary Taiko and percussion.
