HIMF presents world-renowned classical music artists in a concert benefitting Ho'omalu Ka'u, an organization dedicated to "perpetuating, protecting, and conserving the lands, health, knowledge, culture and history of Ka'u and its people."

The evening will feature a program of classical music that has been inspired by the native plants of the Ka'u Dryland Forest.

Artists featured include: Maya Hoover (Mezzo-Soprano and Professor at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa), Amy Shoremount-Obra (Internationally Acclaimed Metropolitan Opera Soprano), Jonathan Korth (Pianist and Professor at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa), Joshua Nakazawa (Cellist, Hawaii Symphony), Eric Silberger (Internationally Acclaimed Prize-Winning Virtuoso Violinist), and Carlin Ma (Multi-Media Artist and Pianist).
