Leslie Goldman McInerny

Soprano Leslie Goldman McInerny was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She attended Interlochen Arts in Michigan for high school where she majored in classical voice. She then moved to New York City where she attended the Manhattan School of Music and received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. Leslie has appeared with Regina Opera Company, Chelsea Opera, One World Symphony, Summer Music West, and the Chautauqua Institution Voice Program. Role highlights include Susanna from Mozart's “The Marriage of Figaro”, Adina from Donizetti's “L'Elisir d'Amore”, Donna Elvira from Mozart's “Don Giovanni”, Musetta from Puccini's “La Bohème”, and Tytania from Britten's “A Midsummer Nights Dream”. She returned to Hawaii in 2014 and has been a part of the Mae Orvis Studio at Hawaii Opera Theatre where she has had the opportunity to participate in many concerts around the island. She is also a principal singer for the outreach program where she performed both the roles of Gretel and the Witch in Humperdinck's “Hansel and Gretel” while touring around the Hawaiian Islands to over 85 different schools. She will be making her Hawaii Opera Theater main stage debut as Frasquita in Bizet's “Carmen” in October of 2017.
