Norah Bailey

Soprano

Norah Bailey's journey began in Greenville, South Carolina. Her search for innovative ways to connect people through music has led her to study classical voice and cognition. However, she is not confined to one genre; she actively seeks and participates in contemporary and musical theater opportunities. Norah's commitment is further demonstrated by her role on the board of 'The New Music Collective,' an organization that nurtures an environment for contemporary composers and provides spaces for their groups.

She is also deeply involved in outreach in the community. Some of her most notable relationships include the University of Rochester’s Home Hospice Program and the Upstate Warrior’s Solution. She also continues to make her mark in national competitive areas such as CS Music, NATS, and Schmidt.

Currently, Norah is honing her craft at the Eastman School of Music under Kathryn Cowdrick. She is set to graduate in Spring 2027 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a minor in Music Cognition. Looking ahead, she envisions a future where she can help bridge the gap between performance and medicine. Norah hopes to use her talent to enrich communities and pioneer new paths in the intersection of science and the arts.
